For Channel Chiefs & Vendor Executives

Your partners are being asked to sell AI outcomes on a program built for product transactions

Consumption and AI change where partners make money, when they get paid, and what they must invest to get there, across resellers, MSPs, GSIs, ISVs, distributors, and cloud marketplaces. We help channel chiefs re-price that value exchange and redesign programs partners will invest in ahead of the revenue, with economics that hold up in front of your CFO and board.

What we hear from channel chiefs

Where partner programs are breaking

Partner-sourced ARR is flat while direct grows

Partners are not investing in the new motion because the program still pays for the old one. Program Strategy · Financial Modeling

Services don't attach to AI and consumption offers

Customers buy the platform, but nobody owns data readiness, adoption, or expansion, so consumption stalls. CX Journey Design · AI Go-to-Market

Marketplaces and co-sell blur who gets credit

Hyperscaler marketplace and co-sell deals bypass traditional deal registration, and partners stop bringing you in. Value Exchange Design

Direct sellers and partners compete on the same deal

Comp plans and rules of engagement reward the sale, not the outcome, and channel conflict rises. Value Exchange Design

Incentives and MDF still reward transactions

Spend goes to resale volume while adoption, renewal, and expansion, where consumption revenue is made, go unrewarded. Financial Modeling

Finance can't see the return on the program

Cost of channel, partner contribution to net revenue retention, and program ROI are not measured, so the budget is always at risk. Financial Modeling

Retooling a global partner ecosystem for the shift to recurring revenue

Challenge

A Fortune 100 global IT vendor, the recognized leader in its industry, was moving from CapEx hardware sales to recurring software. Its partner strategy had to evolve with it, establishing new partner roles and capabilities across the entire customer lifecycle.

What we did

nVision developed the partner strategy, programs, incentives, and enablement assets, then led partner practice development workshops with more than 125 partners in over 50 countries, building those capabilities in a way that established each partner’s unique differentiation and profitability.

Result

More than 87% adoption of the vendor’s new software in year one, and global partner readiness that drove outcome-based sales worldwide, helping the client transform its revenue from non-recurring to recurring over a multi-year horizon.

Partner Transformation Readiness Assessment

Nine questions that separate transformation-ready programs from expensive experiments

Is your portfolio 'partner ready'?
What roles must we play when launching?
What roles do we need our partners to play?
What partner capabilities are required?
What are the new rules of engagement?
What are the vendor-partner economics?
Do my partners know their roles?
Do my partners have the right capabilities?
Do my partners have the desire?

If you can't answer all nine with data, your program is running on assumptions. We'll score your program against each question in a confidential working session.

Why our AI perspective is different

We advise on AI go-to-market from inside a business that runs on AI

Your customers' AI value is won or lost in data readiness, integration, governance, and adoption, the same work we did in our own business. That first-hand experience shapes the partner roles, proof points, and value exchanges we help you design.

AI-enabled go-to-market acceleration

Know what value realization requires

We have lived the distance between buying AI and getting outcomes from it. That informs the customer journey, the proof points, and the success metrics your go-to-market has to carry.

Define the partner roles AI demands

Data readiness, integration, governance, and adoption are where AI value is won or lost. We translate that into the partner roles, capabilities, and value exchanges your program must reward.

Clearly identify AI value exchanges

We help you position your AI-enabled value clearly, while giving your partners room to establish their own unique differentiation.

Compress the GTM cycle itself

We can help you and your partners accelerate your GTM strategy with AI-enabled field execution. This includes automating market research, asset creation, SDR outreach, scheduling and follow-through.
